Retweetd From Professor Chris Whitty

The situation in the NHS is very serious and the number of people in ICU is rising rapidly. We are improving our knowledge on how best to treat people in ICU thanks to research, but hundreds of people a day are currently dying. We must all take the lockdown very seriously. https://t.co/ByWz4ejwz5

Geography

World 2
At Harris Free School Peckham, we endeavour to inspire all pupils and create curiosity and fascination about the world we live in. Our pupil’s start their geography knowledge learning in Reception where they are guided to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology and the environment.

In Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, children build on their geographical skills and are encouraged to ask questions, think critically and develop their own sense of perspective of the world. Our curriculum is sequenced to allow for progression from one year to the next, building on pupils’ learning from the previous year that deepen pupil’s knowledge and understanding. Throughout the unit and within lessons children will engage in purposeful activities that provide children with an epistemic curiosity with the aim to foster a love of learning.
